Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
The short version: SnapPaperwork has no accounts. What you type into a tool stays in your browser and is never sent to us. The rest of this page explains the few things we do receive.
1. Who we are
This site, snappaperwork.com, is run by SnapPaperwork ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@snappaperwork.com or through the Contact page.
2. What you type into our tools
Everything you enter in a tool, such as names, addresses, amounts and a signature you draw, is processed inside your browser. We do not receive it, store it on a server or have any way to read it.
So that your form is still there the next time you visit, the tool saves it in your browser's local storage on your own device. You can remove it at any time with the Clear form button or by clearing your browser's site data. On a shared computer, clear the form when you finish. Because we never receive this information, we cannot recover it for you.
3. Information we do receive
- Hosting and security data. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To serve pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare receives technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep logs. Cloudflare's own Web Analytics also counts page loads without setting cookies. We do not use any of this to identify you.
- Messages you send us. If you write to us by email or through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. The form also passes on your country and a spam check, so that abuse can be recognised. Contact form messages are emailed to us through Cloudflare and are not stored on the site. We use them only to reply and to run the site, and keep them for as long as needed for that purpose.
- Traffic statistics (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. It receives the pages you view, your approximate location (from your IP address, which Google shortens), your device and browser type, and how you arrived. It never receives what you type into a tool or into the contact form. We have switched off Google's advertising features for it (no Google Signals, no ad personalisation). Google acts for us as a service provider.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no cookies. It uses local storage to remember your form, as described above, and to remember your cookie choice. Google Analytics sets two cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by letters) that tell visits apart. Advertising partners may set cookies, as described next.
Your choice about analytics. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union or Switzerland, analytics stays off, and Google's script is not even loaded, until you press Accept on the banner. Elsewhere it runs by default. Anyone can change their choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Pressing Decline turns analytics off and removes its cookies. You can also use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
5. Advertising
The tools are free because the site is supported by advertising. When ads are shown, they are provided by Google AdSense and its partners.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also opt out of many other ad networks at aboutads.info.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used.
Ads never appear on the document you print.
6. Why we use information (UK and EU visitors)
We rely on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the site, your consent for advertising cookies where the law requires it, and the need to answer you when you write to us.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold very little (mainly emails you send us), the simplest way to use these rights is to write to hello@snappaperwork.com. Residents of California and other US states may have similar rights under local law. Use the advertising choices in section 5 to control ad personalisation.
8. Children
SnapPaperwork is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age).
9. Security and where data goes
The site is served over HTTPS. Our hosting and advertising providers operate internationally, so technical data such as your IP address may be processed in countries other than your own.
10. Links to other sites
Some pages link to official sources such as government websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
